Participate in Reflections 2010-2011
"Together We Can"
The National PTA Reflections Program is an arts recognition and achievement program for students. Participation in the Reflections Program is a great way for students to explore and express their artistic talents. Creating art is a valuable learning process that challenges students to use their critical thinking skills as well as their imaginations! Students may submit one original work of art entry per category in any of the six arts categories listed below:
- Literature
- Musical Composition
- Photography
- Visual arts
- Dance Choreography
- Film/Video Production
Although awards are given at various levels, at Carver School, we recognize every child who participates and encourage all to contribute. Support your children's creativity and encourage them to enter! Just remember, parental encouragement is strongly appreciated, but the rules require that the works of art be the student's own original work.
Entries may be submitted to the school office immediately, and will be accepted until Friday, October 29th. For more information on the program, detailed rules and entry forms, please go to the California PTA website at capta.org. The information will also be available in the Carver School Office.
