Third Grade
For nearly, 20 years now, Alana Fauré has taught the children of the San Marino community at Carver School. First as an ELD teacher and then as a third grade teacher, many of her early students return now and then as they have recently graduated from college. Mrs. Fauré has found her career as a teacher to be deeply rewarding: She is loved by her students and is a well-respected member of the faculty. Born and raised in Taiwan up until college, Mrs. Fauré learned to speak Mandarin and appreciate Chinese culture. Mrs. Faure´ holds a Master of Education degree from the University of La Verne and a Tier 1 administrative credential. Outside of the classroom, this teacher has an active family life with her husband and three children. Her hobbies include gardening and art.
