Mission Statement

The Valentine School Mission Statement was designed by the It's Elementary committee composed of teachers, parents, and administrators. Our vision is to:

	Empower teachers, on consultation with the parents, to refine and integrate that which is new from the It's Elementary Task Force Report into existing programs.
	Encourage teachers to collaborate, discuss, and share viewpoints.
	Promote professionalism among teachers as they demonstrate the courage of their convictions by doing what is best for students.

School Description

Valentine School is K-5 school with 30 classroom teachers and 669 students. The school's goal is to provide excellence in education by promoting respect among the staff, teachers, students, and parents. The principal's rule is "I will respect myself and others."

P.M. Kindergarten:   11:05 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

Minimum Day Schedule

A.M. Kindergarten:   8:10 a.m. to 10:50 a.m.
P.M. Kindergarten:   9:50 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
Grades 1-5:   8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

Lunch Schedule

Grades 1-2:   11:30 a.m. to 12:15 p.m.
Grades 3:   11:45 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
Grades 4-5:   12 noon to 12:45 p.m.
